Englewood Florida is located at the western end of Charlotte County on the Gulf of Mexico, just 85 miles south of Tampa and only 50 miles north of Fort Myers.
The Englewood Cape Haze area is home to over 46,000 full time residents. It lies at the Southern end of Sarasota County; Charlotte County is to the west. It borders the Gulf of Mexico.
Boaters love the area for its proximity to Stump Pass and Boca Grande Pass.

Manasota Beach and Blind Pass Beach lie on the Sarasota side of Manasota Key .
Manasota Beach has over 14 acres of Gulf front beach.
- Blind Pass Beach on 60 acres. Sarasota County also provides a docking area for boats on the Intracoastal Waterway side of Manasota Key.
- Englewood Beach, in Charlotte County has a wide beachfront, picnic tables, a concession and paved parking. Restaurants, shops and beach accommodations are nearby.
Port Charlotte Beach State Park is located south of Englewood Beach.
